The High Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce has grown with High Prairie, originally registered through the Federal Department of Consumer Affairs, it is now an Alberta Registered Society.
The Chamber is a community oriented organization and was the driving force behind;
preservation. The Beautification Committee is a spin off from the Chamber.
The Chamber of Commerce is still involved in these activities as well as Big Lakes Country Tourism.
In the past year we have sponsored "Barney and the Teletubbies" and "Circus Chimera"
