Come in and check out the new fashions, says the owner of Trends and Images.
"This year the customers want to make this the big one (party) and really want to dress up," says Susan Richter, who opened the store in March 1992.
So, people will want to dress in their finest. Trends and Images can outfit the lady in your life for just that special occasion.
The store not only caters to evening wear but practical wear. Trends and Images has a wide selection in functional ladies and teen wear. "A lot of our clothes are functional, the clothes you can wear every day," says Richter. In stock are sweaters, jeans, slacks, shorts and shirts in many popular brand names. A selection of lingerie, hosiery, housecoats and nightwear completes the day's needs for any lady.
However, accessories available at Trends and Images will add the necessary colour to any outfit. Richter says the 1970s look is making a comeback in the younger generation and expects it to be popular by spring. "There is still a lot of '70s influence for younger people. This year the jeans have got braids at the bottom and dangles for spring. It's really hot in the cities." As well, dangles and beads are popular in shirts.
Richter adds to watch for the new Bridal, prom and graduation wear. As well as fashions for the mothers of all such events.
